What’s your Next Step towards Healthy?
I’ve gained & lost the same 20 lbs. since I was 14 years old. Starting to diet at this young age set me up for a lot of body image awareness & the need to identify myself as my food choices: “I’m vegetarian. I’m paleo. I’m eating vegan right now.” But I got tired of the labeling & these diets failing me. I really wanted to find a place where I could not only sustain my weight, but I could also feel food freedom. To me that looked like being able to build a plate that not only nourished my body but my mind. Once I figured out how to do that, I knew I needed to share it with as many people as possible.
I entered into the Institute for Integrative Nutrition program in 2018 in order to combine that knowledge along with what I’ve learned over all of my years eating different diets & styles of eating. I also learned how to fuel my body properly with the right balance of macronutrients & make me comfortable in my skin. Combining these approaches allows me to help women achieve their health & wellness goals through a nutritious diet & self-care.
